Victor’s Eatery in Hale recently hosted an event called ‘The Hale Way’ in support of Smart Works, a charity providing interview training and quality used workwear to women in need.

The lunch was sponsored by Halecroft Recruitment, whose Hale offices are a drop-off point for clothing between May 2nd and 16th.

Tricia Bullman, MD of Halecroft, explained: “We recognise the importance of helping women return to the workplace. Both clothing and interview technique is essential. We are delighted to be supporting this wonderful charity.”

All guests received a goody bag courtesy of Hob Salon in Hale. The event was organised by Marketing Profile and in excess of £600 was raised on the day for the charity.

Fiona Gunnion, manager of Smart Works Manchester, said: “A very big thank you for a wonderful lunch and event to spread the message of Smart Works. I met some fabulous people all offering their support.”
