‘Altair One’, the first building in developer Nikal’s new residential and lifestyle quarter, comprises a total of 59 one- and two-bedroom apartments and penthouses.

They’re all being released for sale at 9am on Saturday 1st July, with reservations being taken at the offices of appointed agents, Gascoigne Halman in Altrincham.

We recently revealed the latest CGIs of the long-awaited development.

Subject to reserve matters planning approvals, future phases will deliver a further 85 apartments across four contemporary-style buildings.

The 4.5 acre site will include 44,000 sq ft of leisure retail space either side of a new ‘boulevard’, 20,000 sq ft of Grade A office space and a 200-space basement car park.

The residential phase of Altair is being delivered by Nikal’s luxury homebuilding arm, Hillcrest Homes.

Hillcrest managing director, Michael Kennedy, said: “The style, the space, the specification and the location all make Altair an incredibly attractive proposition to apartment seekers, as well as investors. Interest has been very high and with prices starting at just £158,750 we’re anticipating a lot of demand at the weekend.

“Altrincham is a fantastic place to live, work, shop, socialise and invest. Thanks to the vision and hard work of the Council, local business groups and residents, the town is enjoying a renaissance and is an incredibly desirable area to relocate to,” he added.

With a “boutique hotel style entrance” to the building, each apartment will feature “large windows, versatile open plan kitchen and living spaces” and most will have a private balcony.

Specification includes contemporary kitchens by German designers ‘Hacker’ with integrated appliances, Amtico flooring, Villeroy & Boch bathrooms plus contemporary style brassware by Grohe and Vado.

The eighth floor of Altair One will feature a south-facing residents’ roof garden with views across to the Cheshire plains.

The first release of apartments within Altair One will go on sale at 9am on Saturday 1st July with reservations being taken at Gascoigne Halman’s offices at 26 The Downs, Altrincham, WA14 2PU. One-bedroom apartments are priced from £158,750 and two-bedroom apartments are priced from £261,250.
