Police are searching for a man after a quantity of cash was taken from a bank in Hale.
Officers were called to reports of a robbery at Barclays Bank on Ashley Road at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
An unknown quantity of cash was taken in the incident; two members of staff and a customer were inside the bank at the time.
The offender subsequently escaped and has not yet been located.
