Festive number ones to be celebrated at Hale Barns Christmas Concert

The annual Christmas Concert returns to Hale Barns this Sunday on December 16th with a celebration of festive number ones.

The annual Christmas Concert returns to Hale Barns this Sunday on December 16th with a celebration of festive number ones.

‘Christmas No1s Live’, which takes place at 7.30pm at Holy Angels church, features a selection of local acts performing hits from the likes of Slade, Shakin’ Stevens, Wham, Mariah Carey and many more.

The annual concert, organised by the Hale Barns Carnival team, includes The Voice star and soprano Scarlett Quigley, who has recently performed with star names including Jennifer Hudson and Jason Manford.

Scarlett returns to Hale Barns along with Trafford Rat Pack Singer Wayne Devlin to perform a setlist full of festive favourites.

Sunday’s Christmas concert will be held at Holy Angels in Hale Barns

Event organiser Max Eden said: “We are thrilled to have Scarlett and Wayne return for this year’s Christmas Concert, this year’s event is definitely a must for anyone who loves those Christmas Chart Hits that we all know off by heart.”

This year’s concert also features local group Montage Party Band, whose full band line-up will give an extra wow factor to some 70s Christmas hits.

As with other events organised by Hale Barns Events, all profits will go to building a new community hall in Hale Barns alongside Holy Angels Church.

Last year’s Christmas Concert featured ‘Stop The Cavalry’ Singer Jona Lewie with Kaleidscope Brass Band accompanying him on stage, the organisers this year promise they’ve planned an extra special surprise.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £5 for children, and are available on the door or via Hale Barns Carnival.
