Two men have been charged after a man was attacked in the gents’ toilets at the Stamford Arms in Bowdon.

Two men have been charged after a man was attacked in the gents’ toilets at the Stamford Arms in Bowdon.

James Featherstone, 39, of Oldfield Road in Altrincham, and Benjamin Cowgill, 38, of Stanhope Road in Bowdon, have both been charged with section 18 wounding with intent.

The men will appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on Tuesday 5th November.

The attack, which took place at around 9pm on Friday March 8th, left the victim, who is in his 50s, with facial injuries including lacerations to the left side of his scalp and eyebrow, which required hospital treatment.
