An Altrincham construction firm has been named an approved international supplier for restaurant chain Nando’s.
McGoff & Byrne, based on Lyon Road off Atlantic Street, was appointed by Nando Duarte, the design and development director at Nando’s Worldwide Licensing.
It follows the firm’s successful work on Nando’s outlets in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
McGoff & Byrne secured Nando’s as a client in 2009 and has worked with the fast-growing brand – which operates well over 1,000 outlets in 30 countries – for five years as principle contractor, fitting out approximately 30 restaurants across the UK.
Declan McGoff, McGoff & Byrne’s global operations director, said the appointment was a “superb achievement” for the company.
“As a business we have plans to develop our international service offering, introducing suitable schemes and programmes to existing blue chip clients as well as new clients, so this appointment will support this strategy,” he added.
Nando Duarte, design and development director at Nando’s, added: “Working with McGoff & Byrne on the restaurants in Qatar and Abu Dhabi was a real pleasure.
