A resident was rescued from a house in Timperley yesterday.
Fire crews from Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe were scrambled to a property on Ridgeway Road shortly after midnight on Tuesday January 24th.
One casualty was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital for checks.
Firefighters used two hose reels and breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control and were at the scene for just under two hours.
