A former garden nursery close to Dunham Massey is to be transformed into seven large new homes.

The former Panflora nurseries site off Barns Lane – formerly owned by Hultons Landscapes – has been vacant since 2018.

Existing buildings on the brownfield site will be demolished to create room for the seven dwellings, which will be a mixture of four and five-bedroom, two-storey homes for private sale.

A original plan for nine houses was downsized following a planing meeting last July.

The homes will be built in “predominantly Cheshire red brick and grey roof tiles” and will use “Warburton’s Art and Craft tradition in a subtle and contemporary way”.
