It’s long been one of favourite watering holes in Altrincham – and now Goose Green can lay claim to its first GIN.
The first ever bottle of Goose Green Gin has been launched by The Bottle Shop, which has proved a popular source of artisan spirits, local brewery beers and world wines since opening last year.
The first batch of Goose Green Gin is said to “feature summer botanicals and is perfect to sit in the green with friends and relax”, and has an ABV of 40%.
Its launch on Saturday drew local dignitaries including the Mayor of Trafford and the Altrincham Court Leet.
Zac Mottram, manager of The Bottle Shop, said: “It was a fantastic turnout despite the weather and we’re very proud to have finally added Goose Green’s name to the many variations out there already.
“As well as being an absolutely delightful tipple, it’s also a collector’s item, with each bottle hand-marked with the batch and bottle number.”
