One of the UK’s favourite dog events is set to return to Cheshire next month.

Tatton Park will be playing host to DogFest in partnership with Bought By Many on the weekend of September 25-26th.

The event will include an array of activities including fun dog shows, dramatic displays, have-a-go activities, a shopping village, delicious festival food, refreshments and music.

The main arena will include entertainment with stunts and routines from some of the UK’s most skilled dog display teams, with animals leaping through rings of fire and hurtling down zip wires.

It is also possible to get involved – you can sign your dog up to the ultimate ‘Dogstacle Course’, put their noses to the test in a game of hide and seek, take part in Ultimate Frisbee or get their blood pumping on the DogFest Agility Course.

There will be plenty of famous faces on the live stage throughout the weekend, hosting interviews and fun participation activities for attendees and their dogs.

Be sure to bring a picnic blanket and settle down for a chilled afternoon listening to some festival tunes while soaking up the festival vibe with artisan food, coffee vans, gin and Prosecco bars and other food and drink stalls.

Guest experts will also be on hand to advise on an array of topics including animal health and welfare, veterinary developments, dietary requirements, behavioural psychology and new ownership during the pandemic.

There is also a chance to chat to the UK’s largest dog charity, Dogs Trust, DogFest’s official Charity Partner, to find out about fundraising opportunities or re-homing.

If you’ve recently acquired a puppy, DogFest will be the ideal place to learn, play and rest with him or her. Pups of all breeds, shapes and sizes can meet other youngsters in a friendly and relaxed environment, and you’ll also be able to enter them into the Fun Dog Show to compete for titles such as Best in Show, Most Fabulous or Best Rescue.

The Big Dog Walk will also let owners pick a route around Tatton Park and discover fun games and surprises along the way.
