Altrincham-based McGoff Construction has secured more than £100 million worth of work for 2021.
The contracts are primarily for the McGoff Group’s operating businesses in the care and education sectors – New Care and Back to the Garden Childcare – as well as healthcare and food retail clients.
Director Dave McGoff said that while the pandemic had brought “challenges”, the company was now in an “incredibly strong position” with contracts with the likes of Barchester, Sainsbury’s and the Co-op..
McGoff added: “One of the main objectives in the last couple of years, and indeed during the pandemic, has been to become as self-sufficient as possible, which is now very much a reality.
“We are constantly self-generating work through the Group’s asset-backed operational businesses, having built 11 care homes for New Care, a day nursery for Back to the Garden Childcare and various residential schemes for Villafont, notably Downtown (pictured), the £53m apartment scheme in Manchester.”
