A new development of 15 affordable apartments is set to open just yards from Altrincham Market.
Allingham Place, which consists of 15 two-bed apartments, is located on New Street and developed by Manchester-based Gecko Homes.
The apartments, which range in price from £272,500 to £320,000, are available to buy on a shared-ownership scheme, meaning buyers can secure a 40% share for just £109,000.

Gecko Homes is working on the development – which is named after famed watercolour artist Helen Allingham, who lived in the area in the mid-1800s – with local firm Oxley Building Contractors.
Gecko recently won Best Small Development at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards for its Dunster Drive development in Urmston.

And the Allingham Place development is certainly a cut above the usual affordable home, with each apartment featuring Wi-fi connected heating, sockets and lights, integrated Bosch A-rated kitchen appliances and hardwood oak flooring in the living space, kitchen and hall.
Allingham Place is now open for reservations. For more information, visit geckohomes.co.uk, email sales@geckohomes.co.uk or call 0330 995 1333.
