What does a property finder actually do?
Think of me as your personal project manager for your house move. From the moment you start your search to the day you get your keys, I handle the hard work. I liaise with estate agents, attend initial viewings, create shortlists based on your preferences, and coordinate with solicitors, surveyors, and other key professionals. My goal? To save you time and reduce the stress of moving.
How does the process work?
We start with an in-depth conversation to understand exactly what you're looking for. Then, I take care of the search - shortlisting and previewing properties on your behalf. I visit, photograph, and video properties to give you all the details you need before deciding whether to view in person. This way, you only spend time on properties that are serious contenders.
Do you help once we’ve found a property?
Absolutely! I’m with you every step of the way. I handle negotiations and manage all the administrative tasks involved in buying a home, right up until the day you complete your purchase.
How long does the process take?
That depends! While I can’t control when your dream home becomes available, I use my time, experience, and industry contacts to ensure you’re seeing everything that fits your criteria as soon as it comes on the market.
Why do I need a property finder?
Estate agents work for the seller - but as your property finder, I work for you. My job is to represent your best interests, giving you expert guidance while saving you valuable time and effort.
Who do you help?
Anyone who’s moving! Whether you’re relocating to a new area and can’t attend multiple viewings, a busy family with limited time, or downsizing and looking for trusted support, I tailor my services to suit your needs. No move is too big or too small.
What are the fees?
I charge an initial retention fee of £1,500 for three months of search time. A percentage of the purchase price is then due upon completion of the sale.
