The team behind the successful Altrincham French Festival have unveiled more details of their newest festival – the Beaujolais Nouveau, set to take place on Saturday 28th November in Goose Green.
Local businesses and people will come together for a day of fine food and drink, entertainment and live music.
Goose Green businesses, including Francs and Piazza, will be providing the food, and Hale-based deli Gastronomy will also have a stall.

Local wine distributor Cracking Wines, the company behind the recent Fizz Festival, will be on hand to give visitors a unique insight into Beaujolais wine.
Between 10am and 5pm, children’s entertainment will be provided on a big stage by Radio Lollipop, who will also be the official charity for the festival.
Live entertainment from mid-afternoon will be provided by the Stockport Accordion players, The Chanteuse (Lucy Hope), Altrincham’s Rock Choir, French singer/guitarist Laura Esher, musician Julie Edwards and performer Hugo Kensdale.
In light of the sad news from Paris, a minute’s silence will now be held before a rendition of the La Marseillaise, the French national anthem, which will be performed at a ceremony commencing at 1.30pm to show solidarity with the French people living in the community and those overseas. Dignitaries from local council have also been invited to attend.
Organiser Zainul Sachak said: “It has always been my intention to help to put Altrincham on the map for cultural events in Greater Manchester as I believe it is a hidden gem with great potential and a strong sense of community. My aim is to make Altrincham a cultural gateway into Manchester.”
