The second meeting of a new ‘parent entrepreneurs’ group is to take place next month after a successful inaugural event in Hale.

The Altrincham & Hale ParentPreneur event will return on Tuesday 23rd June between 9.30am and 11.30am, and will again be held at the organic wine boutique Tour de Belfort on Broomfield Lane.

As founder Angela Roberts explained, “stories were shared, products showcased, business cards swapped and some real value taken away from the morning”.

In addition to the teas, coffees and pastries on offer, Goose Green venue Traders Tiki Bar were in attendance with vouchers for free cocktails.

Roberts added: “I started my own business selling personalised map gifts, Map My World, after having children as a way to not return to the corporate rat race, to be able to make a living and pick the kids up from school and it’s led me to creating ParentPreneur.

“The idea is to get together with local parents who also happen to, or aspire to, run their own business. Parents face some unique challenges when trying to attain that perfect balance of work and home life and these events are a place to share our experiences and help each other grow our businesses in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and at a time that suits parents.”

The speaker at the June 23rd event will be transformational life and business coach Tina Devine, a serial entrepreneur, who will be sharing her own journey of “searching for life balance, self healing, facing your fears and embracing change”.
