Altrincham firm McGoff & Byrne has been handed over £10 million of work by leisure giant Whitbread plc.
The company has been appointed to deliver a new-build 63-bed hotel in Buxton worth £3.3m and a 63-bed refurbishment/new build in Aberystwyth worth £3.1m.
It will also be working on two hotel extensions in Crewe, two hotel extensions in Wolverhampton and a 20-bed extension in Denton, with several other projects in the pipeline for 2016.
McGoff & Byrne, which has worked with Whitbread in various forms over the past three decades, says it is now securing projects with the company on a purely negotiated basis.
All projects are delivered by a team based at McGoff & Byrne’s head office in Altrincham.
Managing director James McGoff said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Whitbread on these projects; the first phase of the company’s expansion programme in the North of England. We are exceptionally proud to be working on a build partner basis on these prestigious projects for such a highly regarded national brand.”
