A graphic designer from Altrincham has launched his own business – and is offering local businesses a £500 website grant to help them start selling online.
John McCall has taken on the Altrincham franchise for Nettl, formerly known as printing.com.
And in a move to encourage as many local businesses as possible to set up an e-commerce website, McCall’s business is offering each one a £500 grant to put towards the cost of a Nettl: commerce web shop.
“Our clients tell us they know they need to sell online, but find it difficult knowing where to start,” said McCall.
“They hear about how expensive web development is and worry that they are going to get ripped off. It’s our mission to remove the black magic and mystery of e-commerce and help small businesses to just start selling online.
“To show our support for local businesses, we’re offering any local business who signs up for a no-obligation consultation a £500 grant towards the cost of their web shop.”
Nettl is also offering responsive websites – sites which work well whatever device you are using – from just £299+vat.
The studio also offers low priced printing with “super fast” turnarounds on everything from business cards, leaflets, brochures and exhibition banners.
“We know print remains a large part of the marketing mix for many businesses in Altrincham,” added McCall. “There’s nothing like a physically-produced brochure to persuade and influence potential clients.”
Nettl of Altrincham is officially launching tomorrow with a special networking event at King’s Cafe in Altrincham.
All local businesses are invited to come down between 6 and 8pm to talk to Nettl about building a mobile-friendly website, view a huge selection of printing samples and take a look at its brand new range of ink-on-fabric banner stands.
