Local blogger Totes Inappropes was the star attraction as an Altrincham-based networking group celebrated its first year in operation.
Estate agent Alison Davies, whose hilarious and painfully honest tales of life as a stressed parent in Timperley have won her a Facebook audience of almost 70,000, shared her story to the ParentPreneur group at an evening of wine and networking at The Elk in Hale.
‘Totes’ lifted the lid on how she unexpectedly went viral on one blog post, how she maintains positivity whilst getting frequently ‘trolled’ online – and why Chebacca is her role model.
The event was organised by local mum and founder of ParentPreneur Networking, Florence Roberts.
In just 12 months, the business – which aims to help parents start and grow their businesses – has grown to over 15 locations from Aberdeen to Guildford.
“ParentPreneur Networking isn’t about selling, but about meeting genuine, supportive parents that want to motivate and help each other to succeed,” said Roberts.
ParentPreneur’s next Altrincham event takes place this Wednesday, 9.30-11.30am, at Carluccio’s in Hale.
