Members of Hale business club theProfileClub and Marketing Profile clients have raised almost £5,000 for St Ann’s Hospice.
Raised during a charity golf day, a cheque for £4,830 was presented to the hospice at a recent breakfast event held at the Manchester Airport Marriott.
St Ann’s Hospice, which has three bases in Greater Manchester, cares and helps thousands of patients and their families and carers every year who are affected by cancer and non-cancer life limiting illnesses.
Barbara Hallwood, MD of Marketing Profile, said: “We are delighted to be able to make such a donation to St Ann’s Hospice and thanks to all our clients for their support. Earlier this year I had cause to access the services of the charity during my mother’s illness and also contributed to their fundraising efforts from her estate.”
Helen Cannell, corporate fundraiser for St Ann’s Hospice, added: “I would like to thank Barbara personally and all at Marketing Profile and Profile Club for their generous efforts and outstanding fundraising for St Ann’s Hospice. Their generosity will help us to continue to provide outstanding care for both patients and families across Greater Manchester.”
Meanwhile, PR, marketing and events company Marketing Profile has been appointed by Victor’s Eatery, Connections Recruitment and Premium Collections.
Hallwood, who established the company in 2007, said: “We are delighted to be working with Victor’s Eatery helping them to further position themselves as the number one restaurant in the area and we’re equally thrilled to be working with Connections a long established family run recruitment company and Premium Collections who are a debt recovery and credit control company.”
