Vine Hotels, headed by former Football Association chairman and BBC director general Greg Dyke, has acquired the Best Western Cresta Court in Altrincham.
The property is a first for Vine Hotels in the Manchester region, adding to its existing Southampton and Sheffield locations.
The Cresta Court is a member of the Best Western brand marketing consortia but was previously owned by Longrose Buccleuch Hotels.
It has recently undergone a series of renovations which include the addition of seven brand new executive rooms, the re-location and refurbishment of the Townfields bar and restaurant as well as the full refurbishment of the existing bedrooms.
Garin Davies, Vine Hotels’ chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have added Best Western Cresta Court to our portfolio. It is a great business and anyone who hasn’t visited the hotel for a while will be very pleasantly surprised by the high levels of quality and service.”
