Altrincham-based entrepreneur Rimi Thapar will undergo a “tense and eventful” pitch on Dragons’ Den this Sunday.
Thapar will appear on the BBC Two show to ask for investment in her health food brand LoveRaw.
Thapar, 34, will be seen introducing investors to her range of organic, gluten and dairy-free products.
She founded LoveRaw, now a £1million-turnover business, five years ago.
She left a career in banking, using just £600 of her own money to buy ingredients and a blender then hand-making products in her in-laws’ kitchen. Since then LoveRaw has grown to be an international success.
Thapar, who manages the company with husband Manav, 34, said: “Being part of the show was an amazing experience – and a great opportunity to show people what we do and the philosophy behind our products.
“We are passionate about creating wholesome food that makes people feel good. The Dragons are great at what they do; having the chance to pitch to them is invaluable.”
Tune in to BBC Two at 8pm this Sunday to find out how she went on.
