An Altrincham-based marketing and technology business has been named among the UK's fastest-growing private companies after increasing its annual revenues more than fifty-fold in just four years.

The Genius Group (TGG), headquartered in the Foundation building in the Stamford Quarter, has seen sales climb from £4.16 million in 2022 to £210.5 million in its latest figures – earning it a place in the Sunday Times Top 100 fastest-growing private companies.

Revenue reached £7.14 million in 2023 before surging to £106.7 million in 2024 and more than doubling again in the year that followed. The company's headcount has grown from 10 to 63 over the same period.

Founder and CEO Chris Niebel said the Sunday Times recognition meant a great deal – not just for the business, but for Altrincham itself.

"To be recognised among the UK's fastest growing private companies is an incredible achievement for everyone at The Genius Group," he said. "We've grown from a business generating just over £4 million in revenue to more than £210 million in four years because we've remained focused on delivering genuine value to our clients and investing in the technologies that are shaping the future."

Niebel was keen to emphasise that the company's roots in the town remain central to its identity, even as it has grown into a national force.

"By systematically investing in our own internal technology and scaling our specialist team from 10 to 63 elite thinkers, we've managed to navigate exponential growth without ever compromising on compliance or service delivery," he said.

"Our success is a collective success and very much a reflection of the exceptional people across the group who have embraced innovation, maintained the highest standards and continuously looked for ways to help customers solve increasingly complex challenges."

He added: "We're proud to be building a nationally significant business from our base in Altrincham. Being named in The Times Top 100 validates our position – not just as a regional success story, but as one of the most significant marketing and tech powerhouses in the UK today. This recognition is just the foundation for where The Genius Group is heading next."
