Altrincham is once again turning blue this November in support of men's health.
Local businesses and the community are invited to take part in the annual campaign to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer, as well as men's mental health, while fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK and Andy’s Man Club.
Businesses across Altrincham are encouraged to join in by decorating their windows in blue, dressing in blue as a team for the day, and hosting blue-themed activities such as bake sales, cocktails and more.
Key events include:
- Monday 4th November: Blue Pub Quiz at Costellos – Gather your quiz teams for a night of fun at Costellos, with proceeds supporting the cause.
- Monday 11th November: Paint Altrincham Blue Net-Bowling Event at Lane7 – A unique opportunity for Altrincham BID businesses to network whilst bowling, with a focus on men’s health. For more information, email info@altrinchambid.com.
- Tuesday 12th November - Inter-Business Bowling Tournament at Lane7 – Altrincham BID businesses are invited to compete in a fun bowling tournament. Rally your teams and get involved.
- Thursday 14th November - Comedy Night at Altrincham Football Club – Get ready for an evening of laughter with Ace Lips Comedy. Tickets are now on sale via Eventbrite, and all proceeds go to Prostate Cancer UK and Andy's Man Club.
- Wednesday 20th November - Men’s Workshop at Runway Pilates - A special session designed to focus on men’s physical and mental well-being.

"Having been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer, I know firsthand how vital it is to encourage men to speak up and seek help. Paint Altrincham Blue brings our community together for a cause that can change lives, and I’m incredibly proud to see how much it’s grown.”
