The organiser of last year’s successful Fizz Festival in Altrincham has partnered with Gastronomy to launch a Fizz Club for fans of Champagne and sparkling wine.
The club’s first event, a tasting evening, will take place on Thursday 21st April, starting at 7pm.
It will comprise a tasting of five different sparkling wines, including Prosecco and Champagne.
The event will also include wine-tasting tips, guidance on where to buy the best fizz, a fizz quiz, and food from Gastronomy to accompany each wine. Tickets are £20 per person.

Janet Harrison, founder of Cracking Wine and organiser of the Altrincham Fizz Festival, said: “I’ve been asked so many times when we are repeating the festival, which we have booked for November 12th and 13th at Altrincham Town Hall.
“Until then, I thought this would be a great way for people to learn more about their favourite sparklers in a lovely environment with like-minded fizz-fanatics.”
