More than 450 Manchester Airport jobs will be on offer at a jobs fair to be held on Monday.
The event is being held at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s The Point complex from 10am to 4pm on June 6th.
The roles on offer are in customer services and security and a full training programme will be offered to successful applicants.
As well as Manchester Airports Group, employers including Caffè Nero, Swissport, SSP, Brodericks, TRG Concession and Travelex (tbc) will be recruiting.
Manchester Airport is already one of the largest centres of employment in the North West with more than 21,500 people directly employed on site, supporting a further 45,000 jobs in the region.
Ken O’Toole, CEO at Manchester Airport, said: “The number of jobs being created as a result of Manchester Airport’s growth demonstrates the positive impact it has on the region.
“We are looking forward to staging this jobs fair, to give as many people as possible access to employment at the airport.”
Positions available will include retail and hospitality staff, drivers, receptionists, customer services staff, catering (food service and preparation), assistant manager roles and more.
The airport will be hoping the fair goes more smoothly than its previous event, in January, when it was inundated with thousands more people than expected, leading to severe traffic congestion in the area.
