An Altrincham bar is to host two exclusive rum-tasting events.
Speakeasy bar Riddles, on Greenwood Street, held successful whiskey and gin tasting nights last year when it gave customers a unique insight into the stories behind the drinks.
And owners Del Lowe and Emma Rostaing are now putting on two special events to showcase the famous Caribbean tipple.
First up is an event on Thursday 11th August called St Lucia Rum Tasting.
It will include St Lucian Rums and the St Lucia Distillers range as well as two rum cocktails and is priced at just £25.
And on Thursday 22nd September, Riddles is hosting an ‘El Dorado Rum Tasting’ evening.
This is the same format as the first with two cocktails, but focus is on the more high end and distinct El Dorado rum, and there will be a very special 25-year-old El Dorado at the tasting.
This event is priced £35 but anyone looking to attend both events can buy tickets for the discounted rate of £50, if bought together.
