Altrincham Choral Society is bringing virtuoso one-handed pianist Nicholas McCarthy to Manchester for its Spring Concert.
McCarthy, the first left-hand-only pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music in London in its 130-year history, will premiere a specially commissioned piece for choir and one-handed pianist.
He will also play a range of other works for left-handed only pianists as well as a variety of predominately 20th and 21st century choral music.
The concert takes place at The Stoller Hall in Manchester on Saturday 6th April.
Established in 1945, Altrincham Choral Society is a large mixed voice choir of around 120 singers. Led by Music Director Steven Roberts, it performs four concerts a year.
