Bowdon Cricket, Hockey and Squash Club has announced plans for a spectacular day of cricket and entertainment in support of Francis House Children’s Hospice.
The South Downs Road club is to host the T20 event on Friday, June 28, and will offer ticket goers the chance to watch and mingle with former England cricketers including Mark Ramprakash MBE, Jonathon Trott, Matthew Hoggard and Glen Chapple.
Event organiser and Chair of Bowdon Cricket Club Dominic Ball said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the local community to come together and watch a great game of cricket involving some of England’s finest ex-cricketers whilst all the time raising money for Francis House. An absolute win-win in my view.”
Local schools and families can experience a unique junior coaching session on the field by three of the PCA England Masters players.
The club’s licenced bar will be open throughout the day along with a BBQ, artisan food and drink stalls and Francis House merchandise stall.
Tickets for the event in Bowdon on June 28, are £6 for juniors (inc students), £11.50 for adults, £30 family tickets and are available here. A range of sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available by contacting joanne@bowdonclub.com.
