Remembrance Sunday services will be taking place across Altrincham this Sunday, November 10th.
The events will give people the chance to remember those service men and women who have given their lives in both world wars and in more recent conflicts.
The Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Rob Chilton, will attend the Civic Remembrance Services in Sale and Hale.
He said: “We all owe a great debt to those heroes who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom. Remembrance Sunday is the day when we come together to reflect on their great sacrifice and I am honoured to be attending.”
