DJ and local resident Darren Proctor is launching a brand new party night experience in Hale Barns – live from the roof of the Bull’s Head pub.
Darren Proctor’s Grown Up Disco will feature mixes of the biggest dance-floor filling tunes mixed alongside live vocals from alternating star guests for each show.
The inaugural show will take place on Saturday 14th August 2021 and feature guest vocalist Rowetta, the original female singer with iconic Manchester band Happy Mondays.
Renowned as the voice on 1989 track Reach Out, Rowetta is also the secret voice on the Black Eyed Peas’ worldwide hit Boom Boom Pow.
Proctor, who currently presents a show on Greatest Hits Radio, said: “I wanted to create something for mums, dads and all grown ups to be able to relive that special club vibe from back in the day, so we are bringing it back!
“A night full of old school anthems that you and your friends can dance to along with special guest vocalists. From chilled VIP tables, to dancing all night long, this is an Ibiza experience in Hale Barns!”
Tickets for the Grown Up Disco at The Bulls Head in Hale Barns are on sale here, with general admission and private tables on sale. The event lasts from 7pm to 10pm and is open to all aged 14 and over.
