Whether opera-singing doves or a partridge juggling pears, Altrincham BID’s new street theatre initiative is sure to turn a few heads this festive season.
Altrincham’s Business Improvement District has announced the Twelve Days of Christmas series of free street theatre performances in the town centre, starting this Friday.
Performances will pop up every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Sunday 19th December, between 11.30am and 3.30pm.
Look out for everything from pantomime dames to dancing geese across the town.
Catch the first pop-up of the day outside the following businesses, and then throughout the town on the hour at locations including Goose Green, Upper George Street and the Stamford Quarter, until 3.30pm:

- Sunday 5th December | Six Geese a laying – Goose Green Gallery, Goose Grn, WA14 1DW
- Friday 10th December | Seven Swans a swimming – Revive Skin & Hair, George St, WA14 1SF
- Saturday 11th December |Eight Maids a milking – Toast, Stamford New Rd, WA14 1DS
- Sunday 12th December |Nine Ladies dancing – Laundry B, Stamford New Rd, WA14 1BN

There will also be a ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ FREE family town trail. Either complete the trail over four weeks or from Friday 17th December when all the installations will be in place!
Collect trail sheets from Jake Shoes on George Street and look out for the letter or number with each of the installations for a chance a win.
