The Not So Secret Garden has been given a Christmas makeover as part of the Stamford Quarter’s plans for the festive season.
The Not So Secret Grotto was unveiled on Friday and now features Christmas trees, lights, wreaths and other festive touches.
Alongside the warming winter menu from Stutter & Twitch, there are hot dogs from Hounds of Love and a new crepe stall from Alty favourites Gran T’s, who will be in the Grotto on every Saturday and Sunday in the lead-up to Christmas.
And there will be a stellar line-up of live music every Friday and Saturday night.
The Stamford Quarter has also opened a free wrapping station in the vacant unit next door to Costa Coffee, and there’s a ‘12 Days of Christmas’ campaign, which will see 12 special gifts, offers and prizes popping up on social media throughout the month.
The free Christmas Wrapping station will be open every Saturday and Sunday until December 18th. Open to everyone who has bought a gift from any of the retailers in the Stamford Quarter, simply pick up a wrapping card when paying in store and presents will be wrapped by the expert team in eco friendly seasonal wrapping paper.
Finally, there will be a Santa’s Letter box in the car park lift tower where children can post their letters to Santa, with letters receiving a response via email!
