The Stamford Quarter is to mark the King’s Coronation with a special day of community fun for the whole family.

The Not So Secret Garden and George Street will host a programme of free arts and craft workshops on Sunday 7th May with Inch Arts, live music and food and drink from Stutter and Twitch and Most Bakery.

Coronation-themed bunting and decorations will transform the Not So Secret Garden for the occasion, as well as a traditional British red telephone box, which will be installed on George Street and filled with flowers.

Starting at 10am, there will also be four Coronation-themed arts and craft workshops, courtesy of Inch Arts, including stamp designing, a clay modelling session and 3D crown making.

The free sessions are bookable and it’s advised to book in advance here.

Stutter and Twitch will be serving up a menu of hotdogs, nachos, coffee and tea from their van, as well as craft beers, cider and cocktails from the bar.

Most Bakery will also be serving up brownies.
