Here's a first look inside Harrops of Hale, the new family-run greengrocers that opened its doors in the heart of the village today.
Harrops of Hale - run by husband-and-wife team Pete and April Harrop alongside April's father Alan Ball - has opened in the former Pixie children's boutique on Ashley Road, which closed in January after 15 years in the village.
The shop stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, seasonal selections and store-cupboard essentials including pasta, grains and sauces, with locally sourced products wherever possible.

When we spoke to Pete back in April, he said the business grew out of frustration at not being able to find good produce. "It just feels like it doesn't exist anymore," he said at the time. "There's nowhere we can go where we can get a superior product to what the supermarkets are offering."
Pete, who grew up in nearby Ashley, brings an eclectic background to the venture, having served in the Armed Forces, run a Nisa franchise and worked in corporate logistics. April also runs Managed Medical, a medical administration company on Broomfield Lane.
Harrops of Hale is on Ashley Road and is open seven days a week.
