A new Hale restaurant has opened in the former Amba and Stockyard site in Hale village.
The Embassy, on Ashley Road, opened its doors last Thursday after a stunning makeover.
The restaurant’s beating heart is its ‘raciones’ – a halfway house between tapas and a regular meal – that’s suitable for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike.
It will soon be offering the opportunity to try a mixture of small beers and wines, in true tapas style.
The Embassy’s operation is headed by manager Itsasne Zabelta, with food prepared by head chef Oscar Dominguez Zulu and former Michelin star chef Gustavo Marin.
Isansne said: “When we found this place, we straight away knew we needed the site. We immediately started speaking with the owner, who we knew already.
“Hospitality is a really hard job, which demands a lot of hours and weekends are crazy. It’s great to have a place where we all feel comfortable.
“Even after only one week we are looking to expand the menu. Once we find our feet we will also look to expand and open downstairs.
“We’ve had an amazing reaction so far – the customers have said the food is amazing. They love the décor and what we have done with the interior.”
