An Italian restaurant and deli is to open in the former home of Evuna in Altrincham town centre.
Spanish tapas bar Evuna closed the doors of its Stamford New Road outlet on December 30th after what it said was "the toughest trading period we have experienced in the past 20 years".
But it hasn't taken long for the corner unit to be snapped up.
We can confirm that Casa Italia, an Italian restaurant and deli, has leased the premises with a view to opening in early summer.
Renovation works are currently taking place on the site.
Casa Italia says it offers "delicious Italian food imported directly from Italy".
It already has restaurants in Didsbury and Wilmslow.
Local firm RPS negotiated the lease of the property to Casa Italia.
