Victors launches new summer menus as it celebrates 10 years in Hale

The restaurant and bar opened on Ashley Road back in 2014.

It’s 10 years this summer since Victors opened in the heart of Hale.

Opening in the Ashley Road space where Man Zen had previously stood, it gave the village an instant shot of glamour that quickly established it as the place to be seen in Cheshire.

A decade on, under the watch of newly appointed general manager Francisca Rafael, it remains the go-to venue for chic cocktails and modern Asian-inspired cuisine.

Here’s what you can expect the next time you escape beneath the iconic Wisteria trees...

New à la carte and lunch menus

To mark the milestone, Victors has recently launched a range of new menus.

The new à la carte features sushi, steak and a mix of small and large plates.

Highlights include beef tataki, crab & yuzu tacos, lobster mac and cheese, and crispy duck sushi rolls.

The restaurant has also introduced a dedicated lunch menu, available until 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.

Opt for the new slow cooked beef rib sandwich, hot honey chicken burger or a Cobb salad, or savour a flat iron steak or sriracha butter mussels for something more indulgent.

Afternoon tea

For those seeking an elegant afternoon affair, Victors offers a classic or vegetarian afternoon tea experience, complete with sparklers and dry ice.

Enjoy the array of finger sandwiches and bagels, baked scones and mini desserts, accompanied by your choice of hot drink, cocktail or fizz. It’s available seven days a week, from 12.30pm until 4.30pm.

A weekend brunch

From 10 to 11.45am on Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy eggs benedict, pancake stacks, full English breakfasts, American breakfasts, avocado on toast, and more.

The option for a boozy brunch includes a brunch dish and a selection of cocktails or bottle of prosecco or Champagne to share, from £29.50 per person.

Sunday roast

The week peaks with Victors’ sumptuous Sunday roast.

The 1kg tomahawk Sunday roast is like nothing else in Manchester. Himalayan salt-aged for 28 days and grilled on the bone, it’s served with seasonal veg, Yorkshire puddings and red wine jus.

If you’d like something a little less challenging, there is a range of classic roast dishes including pork belly stuffed with focaccia and rosemary stuffing, half roast chicken, and a 35-day dry aged beef sirloin. If you’re particularly hungry, you can choose the trio roast and enjoy all three.

Live music

Resident DJs get the party going every Friday and Saturday night at Victors, and then every Sunday between 2 and 5pm, talented musicians perform live, bringing a laid-back ambience to Sunday dining.

Signature cocktails and mocktails

Sip on a menu packed with firm favourites including the Candy Shop Marg, Kiss & Candy, and Raspberry Beret.

But this summer there’s a new range of classic cocktails using premium spirits like Casamigos Blanco tequila and British distillery Chase Vodka.

Happy hour also runs from 5-9pm on Monday to Friday, with guests able to enjoy 2-4-1 on all cocktails, house wine, prosecco and beer.
