Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has revealed the opening date for its new Altrincham restaurant.
The neighbourhood pizzeria is currently completing a renovation of Charis House - formerly home to One Central food hub on Central Way - and will open on Monday July 22nd.
It will represent the 27th Rudy's restaurant in the country and its seventh in Greater Manchester.
Customers will be able to choose to sit downstairs, on its new mezzanine level, or opt for an al-fresco experience in the heated outdoor space.
Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, using dough made fresh daily with Caputo ‘00’ flour, San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.
In accordance with authentic Neapolitan techniques, the dough is cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for around 60 seconds – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised cornicione (the edge or rim of the pizza).
The new opening will create up to 30 jobs.
Bambi Homayoun-Fekri, General Manager of Rudy’s Altrincham, said: “After months of hard work behind the scenes, we're excited to announce the opening of Rudy’s Altrincham on 22nd July.
"Our team can’t wait to bring Rudy’s signature pizzas to this vibrant suburb and become a proud member of Altrincham’s ever-growing hospitality community.”
Rudy's Altrincham will be open seven days a week, Monday to Saturday from 12pm-10pm and Sunday from 12pm-9:30pm. Bookings are now open here.
