Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has been summonsed to appear in court over an alleged road-rage bust-up with a taxi driver in Altrincham town centre.
Keane, 43, was interviewed by police about the Ashley Road incident last month.
It’s alleged that on January 30th he jumped out of his car by the Wetherspoon’s Unicorn pub and directed a foul-mouthed tirade at taxi driver Fateh Kerar, 44.
Greater Manchester Police today confirmed that a summons had been sent to Keane’s house in Hale.
He is due to appear before Trafford magistrates on March 31 accused of a public order offence.
