Two men from Altrincham are among six charged with money laundering after a major police operation.
A number of houses were raided last year at addresses around Manchester including Hale Barns and Altrincham.
Officers seized high-value cars, including Porsches, a Range Rover and a Mercedes, as well as luxury goods and a significant amount of cash.
Those charged include Razwan Munir, 38, of Egerton Drive in Hale, and Imran Sarwar, 32, of Prospect Drive in Hale Barns.
It’s all part of Operation Alveras – run by Titan, the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit – an eight-month investigation into money laundering by organised crime groups across Europe.
All six men were charged with money laundering and were remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on April 1.
