The funeral will be held tomorrow of Andrea Dale, a 30-year-old driving instructor from Altrincham who died suddenly of a brain haemorrhage earlier this month.
Andrea, who was described as fit and healthy, died on April 2nd following an operation to remove fluid from her brain at Salford Royal Hospital, having been admitted to Wythenshawe Hospital only two days before with what she thought was a strained neck muscle.
The former Altrincham Grammar School for Girls pupil, who lived with her partner of eight years Ashley Platt on York Street, was a driving instructor with her own business, Aspire, and also worked part-time at Manchester Airport with security company G4S.
Friends described her as a “lovely, adorable, beautiful lady”, adding: “Words can’t express what she meant to us all, if you look at her photos, you’ll see how her smile could light up a room.
“She genuinely touched the hearts of everyone she met. Andrea loved her life, and everything she wanted was here, we’re all so sad that she has left us.”

Her mother, Val, said: “Despite some of her friends moving away, Andrea loved Altrincham and she was excited about her future here. She took on a second job recently at the airport, and was saving up so that she could buy her first home here. Sadly her dream will never come true.”
Andrea’s Facebook page includes a number of other tributes, including those of former driving students such as Ashley Allen, who said: “Andrea taught me to drive and always made me smile every lesson. Such a friendly, patient and caring person.”
Andrea’s partner, Ashley Platt, has already raised over £1,000 for brain injury charity Headway via a Just Giving page.
Ashley, 29, said it all came “out of the blue”. He added: “She was fit and healthy – just a normal 30-year-old. It all started as a pain in her neck. She was a very positive person who was always happy and polite. She was just amazing.”
As well as mum Valerie and dad Andy, she leaves a brother Mark, 26.
The funeral service will be held at Altrincham Crematorium in Dunham Massey tomorrow, Tuesday 14th April, at 10.20am.
