One person has died and three are in hospital after a car was involved in a serious crash on Clay Lane in Hale this morning.
Firefighters were called to a burning Ford Focus at about 1.10am this morning.
It’s thought the car hit a tree and burst into flames.

Forensic officers are currently on the scene of the crash and the road remains closed at the junction with Whitecarr Lane at one end and Grove Lane at the other.
