Here’s a first look at Fresh To Death, Altrincham’s newest health bar, which opened today.

Offering a new concept of “healthy eating with urban vibes”, the Railway Street bar is the brainchild of couple Lara Green, 20, and Ashley Woodhouse, 23, and uses locally-sourced, fresh and organic ingredients.

Previously, Lara played golf in America while Ashley played professional football while studying nutrition. They already own a cold-pressed juice company, Green & Ginger, which they will be serving in their new business.

Fresh To Death, which is an urban saying used to describe something that is so good it is “inexplainable”, will be selling salads to eat in or take out, homemade quiche, cold meats including a beef joint, salmon, Nespresso coffee and a selection of teas.

Located close to the new Altrincham Hospital, Fresh To Death is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 9am-3pm.

The bar had a soft launch last Friday night, which drew sporting celebrities including boxer Tyson Fury and golfer Tommy Fleetwood.

Ashley said: “We want to bring a healthy vibe to the area while having fun at the same time. We hope to see as many locals as possible as we look to get Fresh to Death established in Altrincham.”
