Former Manchester United footballer Tom Cleverley and his family were threatened by robbers armed with a baseball bat and a cosh during a terrifying ordeal at their £3.5m Hale Barns home.
The 26-year-old was at home with his wife – The Only Way Is Essex star Georgina Dorsett – and two-year-old Nevaeh Rose on Friday when they were confronted by intruders.
The robbers demanded to know where the couple kept their luxury items before taking a £15,000 Cartier bracelet, an Audemars Piguet watch worth £50,000 and a £10,000 Hermes Birkin handbag.
They then demanded the keys to the couple’s two Range Rovers, before driving off in one with a value of £100,000.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “At around 8pm on Friday 2 October 2015, police were called to an address in Hale Barns following a report of a break-in.
“Officers attended and discovered a man, a woman and an infant who had been the victims of an aggravated burglary. None of the victims were injured. An investigation was subsequently launched and is on-going.”
England international Cleverley, who is currently injured, joined Everton in the summer after a spell with Aston Villa. He played 55 games for United.
It’s the latest armed robbery to hit the home of a well-known figure’s home in the area, after the raid on Ampika Pickston’s house in August.
