Police have released images of two men who threatened and beat staff at a Altrincham bar.
The men walked into La Trappiste on Greenwood Street at 11.45pm on Sunday 27th September.
Carrying pieces of wood, they threatened workers and wanted money.
Members of staff challenged the men and forced them out before they left empty handed.
Police have now released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Dan Hayes said: “The staff showed extreme bravery by pushing the offenders away but during the struggle, one person was hit several times with the wood causing injury.
“I would ask people to take a good look at the images and if they recognise the people in them to call police as soon as possible.”
