Get ready for a blustery day tomorrow as Storm ‘Gertrude’ rolls into the UK.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of weather for Greater Manchester, with gusts of 60mph expected widely and up to 80mph predicted in exposed locations.
The alert is in place between 1am and 6pm on Friday, with conditions expected to be at their worst on Friday morning.
Storm Gertrude follows in the wake of Frank, which arrived over Christmas, and is the seventh named storm of the season. The west coast of Scotland is set to be worst hit.
