Have you had any items stolen in a burglary?
This Thursday, officers from Altrincham Police Station will be holding at open day when victims of burglaries will be free to come along and identify any goods that belong to them.
The items are the result of a “proactive policing operation” and the execution of numerous warrants across South Manchester and Trafford.
A GMP spokesperson said: “If you’ve been a victim of crime, in particular burglary, please feel free to come along and join us for refreshments and hopefully identify your property.
“Once checked against your crime report, we will ask you to provide a quick statement identifying the property as yours, prior to you taking it away.
“It will be fantastic for you to get your property back… but not so good for the offenders that we have taken the property off.”
The open day takes place this Thursday at Altrincham Police Station on Barrington Road, between 2pm and 9pm.
