Three men in a white Jaguar ram-raided an Altrincham jewellers today, just eight months after the same store was targeted in a £186,000 heist.
The sledgehammer-wielding men wearing balaclavas carried out the smash and grab on David M Robinson on Railway Street shortly after 3.30pm.
It’s understood they took a quantity of jewellery – the value of which is as yet unknown – and escaped.

Police, who said they were called to the scene at 3.45pm, said the robbers escaped on foot down an alley way towards the town centre but at least one witness described seeing a black vehicle used in the getaway.
The white, 63-plate Jaguar used in the ram was abandoned on Railway Street after the incident before being removed by a tow-truck at around 5pm.

It’s the third time the shop has been hit in under six years.
Last June, four armed men held up the jewellers in a brazen midday robbery.
It was later revealed that the robbers stole 13 watches with a total value of £186,820, with CCTV images showing they used a battering ram to break through the security door before pushing the shop’s security guard into the shop and ordering him to lie on the ground.
The offenders involved have not been caught.
The jewellers was previously targeted in July 2010, when thieves drove a black Volvo into the front of the store and stole a number of Rolex watches.
