Fast-growing law firm Myerson Solicitors LLP has announced plans to move into new landmark offices premises in Altrincham town centre.
Myerson has acquired Grosvenor House, a 20,000 sq ft purpose-built office block on Barrington Road. The building was bought from previous landlord Magnus.
The firm, which says it has grown by 20% a year for the past three years, currently operates out of a series of converted cottages on Regent Road in Altrincham and also has two smaller offices in the town.
One floor of Grosvenor House has already been refurbished to a modern Grade A office standard and is now occupied by Myerson’s Employment and Dispute Resolution departments.
Myerson has also made improvements to the exterior of the building including an upgrade to the front entrance.
Myerson will continue to operate from multiple offices in Altrincham whilst the refurbishment work in the rest of the building continues throughout 2016. The firm hopes to be able to move all staff into Grosvenor House in early 2017.
The firm currently employs around 80 staff and predicts that staff levels could double over the next five years.
Managing partner Carl Newton said: “The firm has been growing rapidly for a number of years and we had outgrown our current premises, so we were delighted to be able to secure the purchase of Grosvenor House. During the search for our new offices we had two main priorities; to remain in the heart of Altrincham and to be able to consolidate all our staff under one roof.
“We are committed to remaining in Altrincham as it has been our home for over 30 years and in that time we have built up a substantial client base in the South Manchester/North Cheshire area.”
