Booths is to mark the first anniversary of the opening of its Hale Barns store with a croissants and Prosecco brunch on Saturday.

The Hale Road store was officially opened last April by chairman Edwin Booth and centenarian local resident Lillian Barrow, who has shopped at the North West-based supermarket for 60 years.

Store manager Aimee Short said: “We hope to welcome all of our Hale Barns regulars and residents to our celebratory Birthday Brunch on Saturday. We are very proud to be a part of the Hale Barns community and want to thank our customers for their support in our first year.

“Opening a store in Hale Barns, a prime position in the heart of South Manchester was an exciting opportunity for us and we look forward to our continued future in the area.”

Croissants, orange juice and prosecco will be served in Booths Hale Barns on Saturday. It’s free to attend and all are welcome.
